Before starting this project you might want to give a watch to Timmy the Toolman's video about replacing these seals:

Although used on all Toyota IFS, specifically on the 3rd Gen 4Runner there is a known issue with the needle bearings where the spline shaft rides. Its a good time to either replace these with new OEM or better yet, replace with a clamshell bushing. You can get the removal tool and install tool as well as the bushing from East Coast Gear Supply.

Works with these front differential seals:
• Driver side (90311-47027)
• Passenger side (90311-47013)

If you don't have driver handle then you can get this one: Overdrive Seal Tool Handle or the Extended Handles for Seal Drive Tools- 18".
