Product Description
You know that lame cardboard insert in your glovebox that field mice just LOVE to use as nesting material? Well now you have an aluminum alternative that is a bolt-on replacement. Simply unbolt the door, unscrew the old insert and screw in the new insert.
The new all aluminum insert gives you more accessible space than the old insert plus you have a solid mounting area for accessories that you didn't have with the cardboard insert. Included with each insert is an reversible shelf that you can mount lower or higher to give you maximum utilization for the glovebox.

A bit of await to get one ofJoey’s aluminum glovebox inserts for my fj60, but the unit looks top drawer quality! Haven’t installed it yet (waiting for the dash to get recovered), but I’m looking forward to having it in the vehicle

FJ60 aluminum glove box
Something I had always dreamed about but never imagined anyone would actually take the time to make! Night and day difference from the original flimsy cardboard insert. Even though I don't see it often, just knowing it's there puts a smile on my face. It took a little man-handling to get it mounted and lined up with the door correctly but the end result was worth it. I had to cut a circle in the left side of the box in order to mount the glove box light but it was easy enough to do. Love having the shelf in there as well. Awesome idea.

FJ60 Glovebox Insert -- Perfect Fit, High Quality
The FJ60 Glovebox Insert designed and manufactured by Wits' End is one of those affordable enhancements that you wish you installed a long time ago. The sturdy and larger volume design is what Toyota should have created originally. Gone is the cardboard insert that was barely hanging on to dear life and now comes a shiny aluminum box. The inclusion of an aluminum shelf is a bonus as it allows you to separate important documents (vehicle registration and insurance) from all the other items you keep in the box (air gauge, sandwiches, your cruiser wish list of enhancements, vodka). Although your original glovebox light will no longer fit perfectly in the box, the inclusion of a large hole for wiring creates a great opportunity to install a brighter, long-last LED panel. Excellent quality and build specs. Fit perfectly in the original location. Comes in raw aluminum, could use a painted or powder coated option.
