Product Description
Anyone with an 80 Series Land Cruiser will, one day, eventually have to deal with the Floppy Mirror Syndrome (FMS). Now this is not to be mistake with Shaky Mirror Syndrome (SMS). FMS needs something a little more that what modern medicine can offer, it requires surgery. In this case you *could* just pound a 16d nail into it and call it a day. For those of use that don't solve our problems with nail, there is a more refined solution.
Includes:
• (2) M4 steel mounting screws
• (1) Mirror mount- CNC machined and anodized

Floppy Mirror Fix
Great solution for old cast aluminum that breaks. My trick for compressing the spring that helped is a 5/16" x 4" long fully threaded bolt through the center of everything. A 5/8" socket will clear the O.D. of the hollow tube and allow enough compression. Very nice fix for common problem.

Floppy mirror fix
Another great product fix from wits end! Don't know what I'd do without all his killer land cruiser stuff. I couldn't find a replacement mirror at any local wreckers..WITS END saves the day again.

Floppy mirror fix
Great idea. Easy to install. Hardest part was compressing the spring.

Install instructions would be great
For those of us who aren't mechanically gifted when it comes to cars, like myself, I rely on YouTube videos or step by step instructions. I couldn't figure out how this is installed. Looks like great quality though.

Great product
Simple concept once the mirror was removed. Now good as new! Had to use a socket and C clamp rather than a vise.

Mirror fix
Need the help of a bar clamp to compress the spring but once on, does exactly what it should. I would expect this to be a long term fix.
